Minister Faafoi promises 'swift' regulation of fuel market

Faafoi said has promised to pass legislation by the middle of next year regulating the wholesale fuel market.

Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Kris Faafoi has promised to introduce a code of conduct and terminal gate pricing to the petrol wholesale market by mid next year.

The industry sells Kiwis seven billion litres of petrol and diesel every year, 90% of which is sourced through infrastructure
