Michael Wood launches investigation into Port Safety

Two port workers died in the past week.

The government is putting port safety under the microscope after two deaths in two weeks.

On April 19, stevedore Atiroa Jnr Tuaiti died from a fall at Ports of Auckland, and on Monday a Lyttleton Port Company worker was killed on a ship being loaded with coal for export.
