Kiwi outflow to Australia half 2012 peak

A Stats NZ update could mean our migration stats just got a whole lot more accurate.

Statistics New Zealand has recorded the number of Kiwis migrating from New Zealand to Australia in June 2019 was less than half its 2012 peak. 

It's the first time NZ and Australian data has been combined and based on the actual behaviour of those travelling between New Zealand and Australian
