Govt speeds up approval time for agriculture products
Review found halving approval times for new products could save $272m over 20 years, helping farmers and growers.
Growers and farmers should have quicker access to products they need for their crops and animals.
The coalition Government has agreed to speed up the approval of new products used by the agriculture and horticulture sector.
The decision comes after the Ministry for Regulation reviewed the approval process for new agricultural and horticultural products.
