Greens propose wealth tax; corporate tax hike

The Green Party has today proposed a major tax overhaul – including a 2.5% wealth tax on assets, as well as a corporate rate of 33% – to fund its income guarantee scheme.

It said it wanted to provide an income of at least $385 for individuals, $770 for couples, and $735 for a single parent.
