Government undeterred by rising EQC reinsurance cost

EQC is in the throes of setting its reinsurance after taking government’s view into account.

The Earthquake Commission’s reinsurance costs are going up, but the government has advised it to retain the same level of reinsurance in 2021-22 as this year.
