Government to co-invest in $2m Oji biofuel study

The investment is the first in the vein of the draft forestry industry transformation plan.

Kinleith Mill could see further biofuel investment following on from the study.

The government has announced a co-investment with Oji Fibre Solutions in a $2 million feasibility study to boost the development of sustainable wood products and biofuels.

The partnership was announced by Forestry Minister Stuart Nash in Napier this morning.
