Government shells out $124m in Covid recovery funds for recycling infrastructure

All but $3m of the investment comes from the $50 billion Covid Response and Recovery fund.

The government has announced a $127m investment into recycling infrastructure. 

Associate Minister for the Environment Eugenie Sage said New Zealand currently has one of the highest rates of waste production per capita in the developed world.
