Government extends work visa expiration dates

Dairy workers from overseas can now stay until February 2021.

Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway has announced a six-month extension to work visas due to expire before the end of the year.

The changes will extend temporary work visas by six months and migrant workers, subject to the 12-month stand-down period, will now be able to stay in the country
