Government changes have not appeased water reforms opponents

Cost of water service entities' reform will go up but the Government is adamant they will save ratepayers money.

The Government has announced changes to its Three Waters reforms.

The Government is increasing the number of Water Services Entities from four to 10 but has made no other changes to the contentious reform of Three Waters infrastructure, apart from changing the name.

It is now calling the changes the Affordable Water Reforms.
