Financial help for businesses as country moves to traffic light system

Hospitality businesses in Auckland will be able to open from Friday, but with restrictions.

Businesses, particularly those in Auckland, Waikato and Northland, will get up to $24,000 in a transition payment as the country moves to the new Covid-19 traffic light system.

Finance Minister Grant Robertson said further targeted support would be considered as the new Covid-19 protection
