Business has to wait for Covid-19 restrictions to be lifted

Jacinda Ardern says the government still does not have the confidence to lift restrictions.

The government has extended alert level 2.5 for Auckland until at least late Wednesday, September 16.

The rest of the country will remain at alert level 2 after Cabinet considered today whether restrictions would remain in place.

Those restrictions had been due to come to an end at midnight
