Budget 2019: Government still has plenty to spend on budget day

With just a day to go to the first wellbeing budget, the government has already committed $1.168 billion in pre-budget announcements.

Those announcements include $320 million over four years to tackle family violence, $49m on removing NCEA fees for students, $153.7m for Oranga Tamariki to help
