Another MP quits politics, this time from Labour

Raymond Huo says he was proud to be Labour's first Chinese-born MP.

Labour’s Chinese list MP Raymond Huo has joined National MP Jian Yang in announcing his retirement from politics.

Huo was first elected to Parliament in 2008 but missed out in 2014 before coming back into Parliament in March 2017 and he was re-elected in the 2017 election as a list MP.
