Agriculture leads the way for NZ in effort to decarbonise

NZ came 9th overall in terms of net zero readiness, well ahead of Australia at 17th.

A new KPMG report has ranked New Zealand agriculture first among 32 countries in terms of its readiness to decarbonise.

The findings are likely to annoy environmental groups who repeatedly target agriculture and accuse the government of giving the sector a free pass to continue emitting
