Act’s alternative plan to get budget back into surplus

As part of its alternative budget, Act would sell 49% stakes in the remaining state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to help repay debt run up to fund the Government’s Covid-19 response.

It would sell stakes in AsureQuality, New Zealand Post, KiwiRail and Railways Corporation, Transpower, Kordia, and Kiwi
