Vietnamese airline to launch service to Auckland in September
The flights from Ho Chi Minh City will replace a suspended Air NZ route.
Vietjet has a fleet of Airbus A330s.
Privately-owned Vietjet Air confirmed it would launch an inaugural air service between New Zealand and Vietnam, connecting Auckland with Ho Chi Minh City, in September. The route details have not been confirmed, so the flights might not be nonstop direct, NBR understands.
