USAF to stand down A-10 Warthogs

The US House Armed Services Committee last month gave notice of the USAF’s intention to withdraw 21 Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, nicknamed the Warthog, in favour of Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons within the Indiana Air National Guard (ANG).
