Six airports seek venue for US National Championship Air Races
Reno replacement has to meet stringent criteria.

The Reno Air Races Association (Rara) named six airports that could be the future site of the National Championship Air Races (NCAR). They are:
- Buckeye, Arizona
- Caspar, Wyoming
- Pueblo, Colorado
- Roswell, New Mexico
- Thermal, California
- Wendover, Utah
