Nasa launches second super-pressure balloon

The balloons circumnavigate the Southern Hemisphere every two or three weeks.

A second super-pressure balloon was launched by Nasa from Wānaka Airport on Saturday. It will join another launched on April 16 that is now on its fourth circumnavigation of the globe at about 33km (107,000ft) above the southern oceans.
