Mid-air collision cuts short Reno Air Race
Two T-6 Texan pilots killed in event that was to be the last held in Nevada.
T-6 Texan, also known as Harvard, was a two-seat trainer used in World War II.
The final Reno Air Race event was cut short after two T-6 Texan pilots collided mid-air, killing both pilots.
The Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) said it was “heartbroken” to announce that the two pilots had died.
