Domestic traffic recovery boosts Wellington Airport profit

Net earnings rose to $25.2m from just $3m in previous year.

Post-pandemic domestic passenger growth at Wellington Airport reached 4.7 million, or 90% of pre-Covid-19 figures, helping to boost the after-tax profit to $25.2 million in the 12 months to March 31.

The international traffic recovery is lagging as airlines hold back on restoring previous routes.
