Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL) has appointed Justin Watson as its new chief executive.

Watson is currently the airport’s chief aeronautical and commercial officer, and will take over the top job from Malcolm Johns on January 1. Johns is taking up the role of Genesis Energy CEO
