Australian Defence Force switches to Apache helicopters 

The A$8 billion deal will replace some troublesome types.

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) ordered 29 Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian and 12 Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopters in a huge fleet replacement valued at A$8 billion. 

They will replace the Australian Army’s Eurocopter Tiger ARH and the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) NH Industries
