Qantas expects billion-dollar plus profit in first half

Qantas Group is predicting a sustained rebound in its international operations as more aircraft are delivered or return from storage amid rising demand.

In a market update, it said the first half-year would produce an underlying profit before tax of A$1.2 billion to A$1.3b, with pre-pandemic levels
