KPMG New Zealand appoints chief people officer

Evan Bateup will join the firm from December 6.

KPMG New Zealand has appointed Evan Bateup as the firm's Chief People Officer and he will take up the role on December 6.

Bateup brings more than 15 years of experience to the role and joins KPMG from Vista Group, where he also held the role of Chief People Officer.

Bateup is passionate about leading cultural change, creating world-class employee experiences, and championing inclusion and diversity. Prior to his time at Vista Group, Bateup has experience working across industries such as insurance and health.
