Dealmakers 2024: Average SME business price rises 5% in a year
ABC Business Sales' latest quarterly report shows interest rates, migration and unemployment are boosting values.
SME market business sales are up 8% on last year, says ABC.
The average price paid for a small or medium-sized business has risen 5% in the past year, to reach $874,182.
The figure is a percentage point higher than the previous record set in December 2022, according to fresh data from ABC Business Sales.
