Vector accepts $3.5m penalty for number of power outages

Electricity lines company Vector, which covers the Auckland region, is facing a fine of up to $3.57 million for exceeding the regulated limit for power outages.
The Commerce Commission brought High Court proceedings against Vector for breaching its network quality standards in 2015 and 2016.
