Separate trial for third CBL Insurance defendant ‘extraordinary’, QC argues

Any attempt by the Serious Fraud Office to have a third defendant tried separately from the former boss of CBL Insurance, Peter Harris, on the same criminal charge is “extraordinary” and an “affront” to normal legal principles, a Queen’s Counsel has argued.
