Litigation against McConnells stayed ‘pending further steps’

Long-running legal action by liquidators of failed Hawkins Construction may be resolved after mediation.

More than six years after receivers and liquidators were appointed to Hawkins Construction, legal action against its directors has been stayed after “confidential mediation”.

Hawkins was placed in receivership by its owners David and John McConnell in May 2018, 10 days after the High Court
