Kiwifruit smuggler asks High Court to stall Zespri's win

High Court confronted with who should fund an appeal, in stay-of-judgment hearing.

The lawyer for a kiwifruit grower found liable for smuggling varieties of the fruit to China said an intended appeal might not go ahead unless kiwifruit marketer Zespri releases frozen funds to pay for it.
