High Court dismisses US bank’s plea in hidden millions case

Pacific Premier barred from enforcing California court judgment against Cook Islands trust.

The New Zealand High Court has ruled its California counterpart is best placed to cure an allegedly defective judgment worth $US3.2 million, barring a US bank from enforcing it here against trusts wrapped up with Paradise Papers' target AsiaCiti.
