Frucor wins long-running $25m tax avoidance fight

Previous disputes over convertible notes have been settled.

Drinks maker Frucor has beaten Inland Revenue in a High Court case over the treatment of hybrid funding arrangements known as convertible notes.

The Japanese owner of V, Just Juice and other major drink brands won the judgment over how it treated convertible notes in tax years 2006 and 2007.
