U-turn for PGG Wrightson on chair’s charges

After saying on Friday charges laid in Singapore against Lee Joo Hai would not compromise his role, the company said today he would step down.

Farming services group PGG Wrightson has announced chair Lee Joo Hai will relinquish his role, reversing its position from on Friday when it said securities charges against him in Singapore would not compromise his duties.
