Smiths City receivers apply to delist company from stock exchange

The company would leave the NZX main board on February 9.

Smiths City's trading assets were sold to Polar Capital in 2020.

The receivers of Ex SCGL, which formerly traded as Smiths City Group, have applied to de-list the company from the local stock exchange, after a reverse listing proved not to be a viable option.

The company’s board appointed receivers in May 2020 following the sale of most of its trading assets
