Rangatira produced double-digit returns for shareholders in the latest financial year but its investments in listed equities let it down.

Wellington-based investment company Rangatira is least happy about the listed equities part of its portfolio.

Rangatira lifted annual net profit to $30.2 million for the year ended March from $13.7 million the previous year with $36.3 million of the increase coming from unrealised revaluation
