Premier Investments to control Myer Holdings after scrip deal

Myer will gain a portfolio of brands including Just Jeans and Portmans, and move to a more vertically integrated retail model.

The enlarged Myer is forecast to have annual revenues of around A$4b.

Veteran Australian retail entrepreneur Solomon Lew will consolidate some of his key assets in a complex merger of his company Premier Investments with department store chain Myer.

The long awaited deal, telegraphed several months ago, will give Premier Investments more than half of Myer Holdings'
