NZX in trading halt to clear retail offer shortfall

UPDATE: Retail shareholders took up just 34% of their rights issue entitlements.

UPDATE: The retail component of a $44 million capital raise by stock exchange operator NZX was not well-supported by shareholders, with just 34% of entitlements taken up.

In a statement, NZX said its retail offer closed on Friday after raising about $10m.
