Meridian boosts dividend 25% after ‘strong operating result’

Electricity generator and retailer Meridian has increased its final dividend by 25% and its chief executive’s pay by 73% as higher wholesale margins drove a strong operating result for the year to June.

In a statement to the NZX this morning, Meridian focused on its operating cashflows of  $667
