Kathmandu Holdings’ chair David Kirk has defended his company’s unwillingness to repay Covid-19 ‘jobkeeper’ relief in both Australia and New Zealand, saying the policy had spread the pain of the pandemic fairly across investors, staff, and taxpayers.
