Forbar downgrades Restaurant Brands as shares tumble

The fast food company that owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Carl’s Jr and KFC yesterday warned profit would more than halve this year.

Investment services firm Forsyth Barr has downgraded Restaurant Brands stock to underperform as its share price tumbles following a cut to its expected profit.

Forbar has also reduced its 12-month target price by 22% to $5.10, from $6.55.
