Fletcher shares dive on more bad news

The market delivered a savage reaction to the company's results announcement this morning, which included a $122m impairment and the exit of the chair and CEO.

Shares in Fletcher building plummeted 16% when trading resumed after a two-day halt as the market absorbed a disappointing first half result and the resignations of its chair and chief executive.

At the 12.30pm market open Fletcher stock immediately dropped 66c to hit $3.50 from the previous close
