NZME has a new substantial shareholder – James T Grenon – the Canadian founder of TOM Capital.

In a market filing this morning, Grenon has disclosed a stake in the NZX-listed company of 17.5 million shares, or 9.321% of its stock.

He acquired the shares through on-market transactions worth more
