Air NZ earnings would’ve been $100m better without aircraft issue

Air New Zealand has reported a 61% drop in annual earnings before tax, but said the result would have been about $100 million higher had it been able to operate its aircraft and schedule as intended.

The dual-listed airline this morning reported earnings fell 61%, from $574m to $222m, between FY23
