A tale of two land funds

Here’s a simple comparison. If you had invested $10,000 in two different listed land funds in May 2021, by this month one holding would be worth $12,500 and the other would be worth $7500, give or take a few bucks.

In percentage terms, one is a gain of 25%, the other is a loss of 25%.
