Under the Electoral Act, NBR ONLINE can't publish political stories or comments on its home page until after voting closes at 7pm.

The Electoral Commission revealed earlier today that one third cast an advance vote between September 3 and September 19.
The Commission's target timeframe for delivering preliminary results is:
● by 8.30pm all advance vote results (around one third of voters cast an early ballot)
● by 10.00pm results from 50% of voting places
● by 11.30pm results from 100% of voting places
