Update: At a news conference on Wednesday afternoon, Reserve Bank Governor Adrian Orr said new shocks kept arriving which meant the RBNZ was always kept on its toes to adjust its forecasts.
That included Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, food and energy price hikes, as well as the labour market.
