Adrian Orr’s Christmas message finds favour with consumers
Electronic card spending declined in December – the first fall in nine months.

Consumers took Adrian Orr’s message to spend sensibly over Christmas seriously, according to new data from Stats NZ today.
Spending using debit, credit and charge cards fell a seasonally adjusted 2.5%, or $166 million, in December, compared with November.
