Pioneer Capital-backed Tally buys Aussie energy billing platform

The deal comes with 700,000 Australian customers, but with plans for global growth.

Core is a cloud native platform built as an alternative to SAP and Oracle.

Energy technology provider Tally Group, which had its origins in New Zealand, is expanding its Australian business with the purchase of retail billing platform Core.

Core has been owned by one of Australia’s largest retailers, Alinta Energy, but it will now be integrated with Tally’s cloud
