Pip Greenwood has been appointed to the board of Westpac New Zealand.
Ms Greenwood is retiring from the partnership at Russell McVeagh this month after a tenure of 18 years, which included more than 10 years' experience on the firm's board and a period as chairwoman.
Ms Greenwood also holds directorships at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and Spark.
She has been awarded 'New Zealand Dealmaker of the Year' five times at the Australasian Law Awards and was a finalist in the Women of Influence Awards, hosted by Westpac and Stuff, in 2017 and 2015.
She has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury.
Ms Greenwood joins the Westpac board as an independent non-executive director.
